Midi Touch Custom Control Surface iPad App
on Dec 28 in Instruments, Software tagged control surface, ipad by Alan Myers - adminUse the intuitive controls to craft your own controllers by dragging knobs, sliders, buttons, drum pads and X-Y controls onto the screen. Then customize each control to change it’s size, control number, range, channel, type, and label.
Once you have created your ideal control surface, connect to MIDI hardware using the USB Camera Connection Kit, or send messages over WiFi using MIDI Network Sessions or DSMidiWiFi. Controls have excellent responsiveness, with latency measured as low as 2ms over WiFi, and a solid 1ms for wired connectivity. Full support for multi touch is included, allowing control of up to 11 controls simultaneously.
MIDI Touch comes pre-loaded with presets for mixing, drum pads and X-Y controllers, and allows saving of custom presets. Changing between presets can be done via menu, next/previous buttons or by creating preset jump buttons on controllers to quickly switch between presets on the fly.
